Pilot terms
These terms cover the website and the app of the free Madrid pilot. Version pilot-2026-10-15.
Who runs the pilot
The GateHello team runs the pilot. When the company that will operate GateHello is set up it will take over, and we will tell you here and by email. Contact: [email protected].
What GateHello is
A free pilot that introduces two adults who share a layover, for a short in-person chat in a public place, only if both of you say yes. It is not a dating app. We cannot promise that there will be someone for you every time. GateHello has no link with Aena or with any airline.
It is free
We charge nothing and do not ask for payment details. If that ever changes we will tell you first, and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.
Who can use it
People aged 18 or over, with true information, one account per person. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Meetings and safety
Meetings are in busy public places. You decide whether to go and you are responsible for your own safety. We do not verify identity beyond what you tell us, so be careful as you would with anyone new: tell a friend where you will be, keep your belongings with you, and never send money or hand over documents. You can leave at any moment. In an emergency, call 112.
Conduct
Treat people with respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, illegal content, pretending to be someone else, and using GateHello to sell, recruit or promote are not allowed, and neither is recording or photographing someone without their consent. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Report and block
You can block and report anyone from the app, or write to [email protected]. We review reports and may act on them.
Your content
What you write in your profile stays yours. You allow us to show it, as you chose, to the person you are introduced to and to use it to arrange introductions.
Availability
This is a pilot. It can change, pause or end, and some days we may not find anyone. If we can, we will tell you in advance.
Our responsibility
We do our best to run the pilot with care, but we are not responsible for what other people say or do, or for what happens in meetings between people. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, and your data is handled as described in the privacy notice.
Changes
If we change these terms in an important way we will tell you before they apply. Version: pilot-2026-10-15.
Law
Spanish law applies, without affecting the rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live. Contact: [email protected].
