Safety notes
Meeting someone new should feel easy and safe. GateHello is a small pilot, and these are the rules we follow and ask you to follow too. We will extend them (such as optional identity verification) as the pilot grows — we will say so here when we do.
Adults only
GateHello is for people aged 18 and over.
Public places only
In the Madrid pilot we suggest busy, public, easy-to-find meeting spots — never a private location, and never outside the airport.
You stay in control
You can say no to an introduction, leave a meeting at any moment, and block or report anyone in the app.
Tell someone
Let a friend know where you will be and when. Keep your belongings with you.
Keep it simple
Do not send money, share financial details or hand over documents. Nobody from GateHello will ask for them.

If something feels wrong, tell us at [email protected]. In an emergency, call 112 (Spain / EU) or airport security.
